Born in Wellington, New Zealand, Yu Mei was founded in 2015 by creative director Jessie Wong when she couldn’t find a design-conscious bag that fit everything she needed in a day. Yu Mei focuses on utilitarian and regenerative design to streamline systems of carrying for real people navigating the demands and complexities of modern life.
